This Steinert was produced under the A. M. Hume name, a specialty line in
the M. Steinert house during the early 1900s. It features lovely turned
legs with matching pedal lyre and bench which are different from the
traditional Steinert/Steinway lines. It is finished in medium chestnut
mahogany with nickel hardware. This piano was completely rebuilt 10+ years
ago and is a wonderful example of Steinerts from the "Golden
Era". At 5' 10 1/2" it has the big, rich sound that is so
desirable.
